Art Psychotherapy combines the usual practices of talking therapy – in a safe confidential space to discuss what may be troubling you – with the opportunity of using creativity for additional insight. You do not need to be an artist or have any art experience to benefit. This is for you if you are drawn to the idea of expressing yourself creatively or using symbols. By working with images, postcards, painting, clay, modelling, sand trays or simply exploring metaphor, it is possible to explore emotional issues in a different way, when words are not enough.
